The sponsorship or gift arrangement is unclear
Not a statutory bar. It affects whether the officer is satisfied, and better evidence can change that.
What this means
The application does not adequately explain why another person is providing funds, whether the money is a gift, reimbursement or temporary transfer, and who controls it.
Why it matters to the officer
Clear funding arrangements help the officer understand whether resources are actually available and whether the relationship/purpose is credible.
What the officer compares
Relationship, amount, payment method, timing, sponsor capacity and whether the arrangement is consistent across letters and forms.
How to strengthen a new application
Use a clear sponsor/gift letter plus evidence of the relationship and funds. Do not describe a repayable loan as a gift.
