July 2025 IRCC Update

IRCC now proactively includes officer decision notes with some refusal letters (mainly visitor visas). But these are heavily summarised and exclude supporting documents, eligibility worksheets, biometric notes, and system logs. The full file is still ATIP-only.

The basics

What CAIPS notes are and who needs them

What are CAIPS and GCMS notes?
CAIPS (Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System) and GCMS (Global Case Management System) notes are the internal officer notes IRCC creates while reviewing your application. CAIPS has been replaced by GCMS — they're the same notes under different names. They contain the officer's observations, eligibility verdicts, document checks, and reasons for approval or refusal.
Who can request CAIPS / GCMS notes?
Anyone who has applied to IRCC for a Canadian visa, study permit, work permit, or PR — or someone authorised by the applicant. We file an ATIP (Access to Information and Privacy) request on your behalf, with your written consent.
What if I never applied to IRCC?
If you've never had any application with IRCC, there are no notes to retrieve. The ATIP system can only return information IRCC actually has on file. If you're unsure, we can do a discovery search at no extra cost.
What information will I see in my notes?
Officer assessment notes, eligibility verdicts, document checks, security/admissibility flags, decision rationale, and any CBSA referrals. For refused applications, the specific refusal grounds (e.g. R179(b), A11(1)) are cited.

Process & timing

How long it takes and what happens at each step

How long does it take to receive my notes?
Standard processing is 25-30 daysfrom when we file the ATIP request with IRCC. This timeline is set by IRCC under Canada's Access to Information Act — largely outside our control. We file your request within 24 hours of payment.
How do I know what's happening with my order?
You'll have a live dashboard showing exactly which stage you're at — Order received → ATIP filed → In queue at IRCC → File received → Delivered. We also send WhatsApp and email pings at each milestone.
Can I expedite my order?
We can expedite our processing on our end (filing within 6 hours instead of 24), but IRCC processing time itself is fixed. If you need a faster IRCC turnaround, that's only available via formal MP requests, which we can guide you through separately.
What if IRCC takes longer than 30 days?
IRCC occasionally delays beyond 30 days, especially during peak season (Apr-Aug). We'll keep your dashboard updated and chase IRCC formally if it crosses 35 days. If they exceed 60 days, we offer a partial refund as a goodwill gesture.
Can I get my notes if my application is still in process?
Yes. You can request notes at any stage — refused, approved, or still under process. For in-process applications, the notes will show how far IRCC has gotten and what they're waiting for.

Pricing & payment

What you'll pay and how

Why are your prices higher than ₹999 services?
Because we're a government-licensed entitywith overhead — Patiala office, regulated staff, data-protection compliance, secure infrastructure, and a full client dashboard. Higher tiers also include the complete application file and written interpretation (not just bare notes). ₹999 services exist because they cut corners — most don't have a license, no sample notes visible, no interpretation, no dashboard.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and international cards (Visa/Mastercard/Amex). Payments are processed via Razorpay (INR) and Stripe (international) — both PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — full refund if we can't process your file or IRCC returns nothing. Full refund for cancellations within 24 hours of payment. After 24 hours, partial refund depending on stage (we may have already paid the IRCC ATIP fee).
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The price you see at checkout is the final price. We don't charge extra for delivery, dashboard access, WhatsApp updates, or revisions to your interpretation document.

After delivery

What you can do with your notes

What if I don't understand the notes?
If you've purchased the Premium tier (₹7,500), you'll already have a written interpretation explaining everything in plain English. If you have the Basic or Notes+File tier, you can upgrade by paying the difference within 30 days of delivery.
Will the notes help me reapply successfully?
They give you precise information about why your application was refused or what concerns the officer had — which is essential for fixing those issues in a reapplication. We don't guarantee approval (no one can), but addressing the actual concerns dramatically improves your odds.
Do you also help with refilling the application?
No, we focus only on retrieving and interpreting notes. We're not RCICs (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants) and can't represent you to IRCC for new applications. We can refer you to vetted RCICs if you need that help.
How long can I access my notes from the dashboard?
Lifetime access. Your dashboard keeps all your past orders accessible for download. We retain the actual PDF files for at least 90 days after delivery; beyond that, you can keep the local copy you downloaded.
Can I order notes for someone else (family member, friend)?
Yes — but we need a written consent letter from the actual applicant (the person whose name is on the IRCC application). We provide a template for this. ATIP rules require the applicant's authorisation.
