A Canadian study permit refusal is a decision about Canadian law. It creates no record in Europe, no shared database entry, and on most European application forms there is nowhere to declare it because nobody asks. Here is what each country actually asks, what it costs, and where your refusal genuinely does matter.
Most Indian students are refused under R216(1)(b) — the officer was not satisfied you would leave at the end of your stay. It is worth understanding what that means elsewhere.
European study routes are built on the opposite assumption. They legislate post-study work and, in several cases, a route to settlement. A country that hands graduates 12 to 24 months to find a job is not going to refuse you for intending to stay — it is the policy. The concern that sank your Canadian file is, in most of Europe, not a question on the form.
What does follow you is the part of the file that was genuinely weak. If your study plan did not explain why this course, in this country, at this point in your life, that weakness travels. A refused Canadian application is not a handicap. A badly reasoned one is.

These nine are published because their figures survived a second fact-check that tried to disprove them — Germany after three corrections it did not pass first time. Three more, France, Italy and Poland, are still held: one had a funds figure taken from a rule superseded twice, another claimed unrestricted work rights that do not exist. They go up when they are right, not before.
